His Divinity Dad Simon Kimbangu Kiangani was born on October 12, 1951, in the Holy City of Nkamba, in the Nzundu chiefdom, Cataractes district, Mbanza Ngungu territory, in the province of Central Kongo, Democratic Republic of Congo. He is the grandson of Papa Simon Kimbangu and the first son of Papa Dialungana Kiangani Salomon, himself the second son of Dad Simon Kimbangu.
He is the third Spiritual Leader and Legal Representative of the Kimbanguist Church, formally known as: The Church of Jesus Christ on Earth by His Special Envoy, Papa Simon Kimbangu.
His predecessors were:
- Dad Diangienda Kuntima Joseph, first Spiritual Leader
- Dad Dialungana Kiangani Salomon, second Spiritual Leader.
The international headquarters of the church has always been located in the Holy City of Nkamba.
The movement is based on a spiritual dogma, an entire civilizational program, a moral and social code of conduct, as well as a network of schools and universities throughout the Congo. Furthermore, Kimbanguism possesses its own language and script: Mandombe.
The Divine and Spiritual Role of His Divinity Dad Simon Kimbangu Kiangani?
Dad Simon Kimbangu pronounced these words on September 10, 1921, at Mbanza Nsanda in the territory of Central Kongo, Democratic Republic of Congo:
“The government authorities will impose a very long silence upon my physical person, but they will never succeed in destroying the work I have accomplished, for it comes from God the Father. Certainly, my physical condition will be subjected to humiliation and suffering, but my spiritual person will enter into combat against the injustices sown by the peoples of the world of darkness who came to colonize us. For I have been sent to liberate the peoples of Kongo and the Global Black Race. The Black man shall become white and the white man shall become black.”
The liberating mission of the Black race was bequeathed by Papa Simon Kimbangu to his three sons:
- Dad Kisolokele Lukelo Charles
- Dad Diangienda Kuntima Joseph
- Dad Dialungana Kiangani Salomon
These sons, in turn, transmitted this authority to Papa Simon Kimbangu Kiangani.
Each of them was invested with a specific mission during their tenure at the head of the organization. Thus, they followed a chronology of events specific to them, of which they alone mastered the ins and outs.
Consequently, the current Spiritual Leader and Legal Representative of the Kimbanguist Church, Papa Simon Kimbangu Kiangani, is the sole depository of the spiritual heritage bequeathed by Papa Simon Kimbangu. He holds this authentic spirituality, capable of bringing material liberation to the Black race and establishing its new world order.
The Political Role of His Divinity Dad Simon Kimbangu Kiangani.
One of the fundamental laws of the Kimbanguist Church is to exhort its members to respect the laws of the country in which they live. As a result, the church maintains close collaboration with the Congolese State as well as with several other States in Africa and around the world. It enjoys global respectability.
On the occasion of the centenary of the spiritual organization, Congolese President Félix Antoine Tshisekedi Tshilombo, then President of the African Union, decreed April 6th as a day dedicated to the memory of the “struggle of Dad Simon Kimbangu and African consciousness.”
Thanks to the success of its autarkic economic model, Nkamba daily welcomes numerous state authorities who come to seek advice and guidance from the Spiritual Leader. During major political changes, he is an essential actor for the peaceful management of state affairs.
The Diplomatic Role of His Divinity Dad Simon Kimbangu Kiangani.
During the 7th edition of the China International Import Expo in Shanghai, from November 5 to 10, 2024, His Divinity, through his Roving Ambassador Dr. Lohanga Konga Jospin, announced the deployment of his world order. This new world order being announced first in China is no coincidence.
The first Spiritual Leader, Dad Diangienda Kuntima, had entrusted a diplomatic mission to the President at the time, Marshal Joseph Mobutu Sese-Seko: to meet his Chinese counterpart, Mao Zedong, and exhort China to base its development on its authentic culture. Today, China has become a global power that emerged without renouncing its cultural identity, which it proudly claims.
This authenticity was notably materialized by the construction in Kinshasa of a modern hospital administering traditional Chinese treatments, which remains functional to this day.
During the 8th edition of the China International Import Expo in 2025, His Divinity announced the deployment of the “Path of Passion,” again through his ambassador.
This project constitutes a cooperation axis structured into a network of commercial exchanges linking Nkamba, the Congo, and Africa to the rest of the world, and vice versa. It is destined to expand in order to accompany the affirmation of the Spiritual Leader’s world order.
China, Russia, and Ethiopia are the main partners of this project. These three nations, through their rapid development, political stability, and sustainable economic progress, represent a source of inspiration for Africa.
The Actors of the Vision of His Divinity Dad Simon Kimbangu Kiangani
Two main actors are responsible for materializing this vision:
1° Professor Doctor Dad Bituvuidi Kiangani Zacko.
Grandson of Papa Simon Kimbangu and son of the second Spiritual Leader, Papa Dialungana Kiangani, he is a direct advisor to the current Spiritual Leader regarding administration, science, and diplomacy.
On January 23, 2023, he defended his thesis at the University of Kinshasa on the theme: “Papa Simon Kimbangu, special actor in international relations: his mission, his vision, and his philosophy of liberation for world peace.”
On December 19, 2025, he was promoted to Associate Professor at the University of Kinshasa.
His mission within the Kimbanguist church was entrusted to him during their lifetime by the three Papas: Papa Kisolokele Lukelo, Papa Diangienda Kuntima, and Papa Dialungana Kiangani.
This mission is separate from spiritual responsibilities and is solely scientific, political, and diplomatic in nature, aiming to generalize the administration and practice of Kimbanguism. He designs and supervises all field missions in the interest of Kimbanguism.
2° Doctor Lohanga Konga Jospin.
A visual artist and Roving Ambassador, Dr. Lohanga is recognized as the first Congolese archaeologist integrated into the rigorous system of Egyptology. His expertise, reinforced by his experience as a collector of ancient and contemporary art, is widely recognized. His scientific legitimacy has earned him collaborations with major museum institutions.
He is the field actor responsible for executing, representing, and committing the Spiritual Leader in the diplomatic missions entrusted to him. To establish himself and negotiate from a position of strength, Dr. Lohanga Konga relies solely on the preeminence of the spiritual force of His Divinity Papa Simon Kimbangu Kiangani.
From this assurance stems his freedom of being, without the slightest complex, and the strength with which he has laid the foundations for the renewal of African diplomacy, rooted in the authentic spirituality of Kimbanguism.
