Biography of the Attorney General at the Constitutional Court, Jean-Paul MUKOLO KOKESHA

Born in Tshikapa on September 08, 1960, Province of Kasaï – Central.


Graduated in public law at the University of Kinshasa followed by a master’s degree before becoming a doctoral student in the same field at the University of South Africa where he learned to speak English fluently. MUKOLO, already 19, anxious to transmit knowledge to the youngest, began teaching at the Bunkonde Institute in the Kasai Central Province from 1979 until 1981, then professor at the University of Kinshasa, since 1993.

Married and father of five, he speaks French and English.

He assumed the functions of Advocate General at the Constitutional Court,
Appointed General Prosecutor at the Constitutional Court, Jean-Paul MUKOLO KOKESHA was sworn in on Tuesday 02 June 2020 in Kinshasa.
