Lobbying war in the USA: Rwanda signs deal with lobbyist Yorktown Solutions of Daniel Vajdich for $960,000 per year

Rwanda has hired Yorktown Solutions to provide strategic advice on issues that impact its ties with the United States.The one-year contract, which went into effect on March 21, provides for monthly compensation of $80,000.
Yorktown is to manage issues, government affairs and outreach to federal officials, private sector groups and the media.
It will organize conferences and lectures for members of the Rwanda Development Board with the aim of attracting investment to the African nation.
Rwanda supports the M23 rebel group which is waging a civil war in the neighboring Democratic Republic of Congo.
The Trump White House is ready to strike a deal with the DRC to gain access to its mineral and rare earth resources.
Yorktown President Daniel Vajdich is working on the Rwandan project. He was a security advisor for the presidential campaigns of Ted Cruz, Scott Walker and Mitt Romney.
