Assassination of Vally Amisi in Gombe: Congolese Sports Community in Mourning

The Congolese sporting world is in shock following the tragic death of Vally Amisi, a prominent entrepreneur and respected sports official. His body was discovered on the night of Thursday, April 9, 2026, in the Gombe district, near the Béatrice Hotel.

According to various sources, Mr. Amisi was reportedly kidnapped before being shot dead. The discovery of his body in an area considered a high-security zone has sparked deep concern and public outcry.
