Kinshasa: Arrest Warrant Issued for Suspect in Murder of Businessman Vally Amisi

Congolese authorities have reached a decisive turning point in the investigation into the assassination of Vally Amisi. The High Court Prosecution Office of Kinshasa/Gombe has officially issued a public wanted notice for Mukena Mwepu Beni, the primary suspect in a case that has sent shockwaves through the capital.

The body of Vally Amisi, a prominent figure in the DRC’s business world, was discovered last Wednesday night near the Beatrice Hotel, in the Beach Ngobila area. Initial reports indicate the victim sustained gunshot wounds to the face and chest, confirming suspicions of a targeted assassination.
